The AgStar Fund’s County Fair Facility Upgrade Grant Program was designed to support rural areas in AgStar’s service area by funding county fair organizations as they repaired fairground livestock buildings and livestock judging arenas helping to alleviate some of those financial constraints.

The following are the 2007 recipients of the AgStar Fund County Fair Facility Upgrade Grant Program.

Faribault County Fair Blue Earth, MN. Repair roof and interior of historic hog barn.
Freeborn County Agricultural Society Albert Lea, MN Refurbish and modernize the livestock arena.
Head of the Lakes Fair, Inc. (Douglas County) Superior, WI Replace overhead door, entrance door and lock for livestock pavilion. Material for replacing rotten/broken livestock stalls. Cages for rabbit and poultry exhibits.
