Rural Energy for America Program (REAP)
Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) is a national program to help agricultural producers and rural businesses purchase renewable energy systems and make energy efficiency improvements. REAP was set up through the 2008 Farm bill and is administered through the USDA Rural Development.
The process and application requirements for a REAP grant are both time-consuming and challenging. Lookout Ridge Consulting, a division of AgStar, offers a grant writing service to assist with the REAP grant application. Business Consultants Mark Enninga and Randy Wheatley can help determine whether the project is a good fit for a REAP grant and help gather and analyze your financial information.
